Sneezy the Snowman by Maureen Wright
A funny picture book for grade schoolers about a snowman who feels cold. In order to warm up, he tries several different things, including drinking a cup of hot chocolate, sitting in a hot tub, and standing next to a campfire. But each time he tries to warm up, he melts! The children remake him each time he melts, adding an article of clothing to help keep him warm. Once he has a hat, a scarf, and a coat, he becomes too warm instead of cold! In the end, the children feed him a humongous ice cream cone to get him to just the right temperature, not too cold or too warm. The book includes repetitive, rhyming text and bright illustrations that will charm youngsters.
