Laura Charlotte

Laura Charlotte by Kathryn O. Galbraith

A lovely picture book about a mother telling her daughter the story of her stuffed elephant, which was made for the mother by her grandmother and has now been passed down to her own daughter. The mother named the elephant “Charlotte” because she thought that was the prettiest name in the world. Now her own daughter shares that name along with the name of the grandmother who made the stuffed elephant. The beautiful illustrations add to the tenderness of the story.
